Features · the full workspace

A place for loose thoughts,
clear plans, and a look back.

JotGrove keeps quick capture, visual organization, longer notes, plans, tasks, and weekly review in one personal workspace. A quick jot can stay unorganized, move to the Wall, or become context for something you create separately.

At a glance
  • Text, checklist, link, image, or voice transcript
  • Wall, Jots, Notes, Plans, and Review
  • Manual control at every step
One entry, several useful destinations

Keep Sunday morning free

  1. 01
    Record

Save it without deciding what it is yet.

  2. 02
    Arrange

Leave it in Jots, post it to the Wall, or use it beside a separate Note.

  3. 03
    Move

Create a plan and practical tasks only when useful.

  4. 04
    Review

Find it later by week, archive, search, or tag.

Nothing is promoted automatically.

A flexible path

Use the part of the system that fits the thought.

JotGrove separates capture from commitment. That means a half-formed idea does not need a project name, a due date, or a score. Add structure only when the note has earned it.

01

Quick capture

Record first. Choose the format that matches the material.

Create a short text note, checklist, saved link, image note, or a short recording converted into editable text. Add tags if you already know them, or save immediately and add a title later from the detail view.

  • Attach up to four JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF images to a new Wall note or Jot; 12 MiB each
  • Record up to three minutes or choose an audio file, edit the transcript, then save the text—not a playable audio memo
  • Save a public web or supported YouTube link with available preview details and request a page-based summary
02

Wall, Jots, and Notes

The same workspace supports three different levels of structure.

The Wall is a spatial surface for sticky notes. Jots is an inbox for material you have not organized. Notes holds separately created longer documents, including approved Reset and MCP drafts. None of these views forces content into a task.

  • Move, edit, and stack sticky notes on the Wall
  • Select several Jots as explicit context for one AI analysis
  • Create and edit plain-text documents in a focused view
03

Tags and arrangement

Use tags, position, or optional rule-based Wall layouts.

Add, rename, remove, and color tags across your notes. On the Wall, arrange items yourself or preview a compact layout, life-area grouping, action-stage grouping, or Reset Your Life route before applying it.

  • Use up to eight tags per Card, with names up to sixteen characters
  • Rename, merge, color, or remove a tag across Cards from Settings
  • Preview Wall organization before saving positions; undo when the Wall has not changed again
04

Plans and tasks

Turn only the work you choose into a plan.

Create a plan directly, build one from a reviewed AI draft, or compile confirmed actions from Reset Your Life. Each plan has its own tasks, and tasks can move between to do, doing, and done.

  • Create a plan and its initial actions without an AI run
  • Move actions between to do, doing, and done
  • See all actions together and open the source note when one exists
05

Search and weekly review

Return to what you recorded without turning reflection into a score.

Review searches Card titles, bodies, and tags, opens the archive, and builds a weekly summary from records on the current device. It shows how many items were created this week, what remains on the Wall, and which tags repeated.

  • Search Wall notes, Jots, Notes, and archived Cards; Plans and Tasks are not included
  • See daily counts and repeated tags for the current week
  • Restore archived notes or remove them from the app after confirmation
06

Reset Your Life

Use seven guided stages to prepare one realistic week.

Ten tool cards move from observing a real day to boundaries, direction, project choice, risk preparation, and a buffered weekly plan. Draft answers autosave; only confirmed answers enter the final blueprint.

  • Pause and return in the same browser without losing locally stored draft responses
  • Save the confirmed blueprint as a Note
  • Create a one-week plan or request a separate AI draft
